Phase One | Initial Consultation, Discovery & Strategy
This is when we set the foundation, ensuring goals, budgets, and expectations are fully aligned before drafting begins.
Initial onboarding: in depth consultation and lifestyle questionnaire to dive into how you use the space, your aesthetic preference, and your functional requirements.
Site measurement & photography: A technical site visit to document the existing space, map out points of contention, and take precise measurements.
Budget & Scope: Defining the investment framework for construction, materials, and furnishings so the design is engineered to a realistic budget.
Phase Two | Schematic Design & Concept Development
The creative brainstorming phase where the overarching vison takes shape.
Space Planning: Developing initial floor plans, spatial layouts, and flow options
Concept and Mood Boards: creating digital or physical presentations - including color palettes, inspirational imagery, and initial texture concepts - to establish the design direction.
Client Review: A collaborative checkpoint to ensure the structural flow and visual goals resonate before moving into details.
Phase Three | Design Development & Material Selection
Here, the abstract concept is translated into exact, tangible specifications.
Material & Finish Curation: Selecting the hard finishes for renovations (cabinetry profiles, countertops, tile, flooring, hardware) and the soft goods (textiles, custom upholstery, rugs, window treatments) for procurement.
Technical Drawings: Generating detailed construction documents including lighting plans, electrical layouts, cabinetry elevations, and millwork details needed by contractors.
Specifications Schedules: Compiling exact spreadsheets detailing every selected model, serial numbers, fabric code, and finish to ensure zero ambiguity during purchasing or construction.
Phase Four | Procurement & Project Administration
We shift from creator to project manager, handling logistics and protecting the design integrity.
Purchasing & Logistics: Managing the ordering, tracking, and warehousing of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment. We handle damages, lead-time delays, and vendor coordination behind the scene.
Site Management & Trade Collaboration: Conducting regular site visits to ensure the execution matches the design intent and resolving any unforeseen issues.
Phase Five | Installation, Styling & The Reveal
The culminations of the entire process, where the space is fully realized.
Construction Handover: The contractor warps up the messy work, leaving a clean slate for us!
White Glove Installation: Coordinating the delivery and placement of all furniture, hanging artwork, and positioning rugs.
Styling: Adding the final layer of accessories, lighting, and styling elements to make the space feel curated, live-in and naturally cohesive.
The Reveal & Walkthrough: A final walkthrough with you to celebrate the finished space!
